How does selling your land work?

 "If I have received other offers for my property, why should I choose The Vacant Land Buyer?"

We are direct buyers of your property and are vacant land investors and owners.. We do not make a commission on the purchase of your property, with an explanation of how we arrived at our offer. At the least, you will walk away from our communication with a better idea of your properties value and the best channel to sell your vacant land. 


"I don't want to submit my property through this site, how else can I contact you?"

"What will you do with my property once you buy it?"

We either hold the property long-term, finance it  or sell it quickly to our network of buyers. 


"What are the benefits of submitting my property information on this website?"

Submitting your information and the property information will speed up the process.  We will contact you within 48 business hours to discuss the potential sale of your property.


"Do you pay fair prices for properties?"

We work with owners on solutions to purchase their property quickly and simply and pay cash. Considered in our offer price is the fact that we cover all transaction and closing costs and back taxes. We also take into account the carrying costs associated with our sellers continuing to own the land (mainly property taxes), and the time, costs, and commission expense associated with listing your Vacant Land For Sale by Owner or with a Real Estate Agent.


"I inherited the property, am power of attorney, or the current title holder/ owner of record has passed away, are we still able to sell our property to?"

"How quickly can you close on my property?"

We can close in a little as one week or up to 3 months depending on the complexity of the transaction.

"You sent me a purchase agreement, how do I proceed?"

If you agree to the purchase amount and terms submit the agreement via email or fax – 866.422.7612. Their is no obligation to you or pressure to sell us your property. Please call or email us and we will have a conversation about your land and the sales process.


"How do I get paid for my property?"

We pay cash at closing by either official bank check or a secure bank wire. We either perform the closing in house or through a Title Company or Attorney depending on the State where the transaction is performed. 


"Are their any fees associated with the sale of my property?"

We pay 100% of the costs associated with the sale of your property. We pay the agreed upon purchase price plus all closing and transaction fees. We also will pay any and all back taxes within reason. The amount of taxes we will cover will be confirmed with the seller and varies on a case by case basis. 


"What makes you different from a Real Estate agent?"

We are direct buyers of your property and are vacant land investors. We do not make a commission on the purchase of your property. 


"Your company address is out of the area, how does the sales process work if you are not local to my city/ market?"

We acquire property throughout the country and are not limited to working in our local market.  We have relationships with local Escrow and Title companies, and utilize technology, mobile notaries, or the mail to meet the needs of our sellers.
